Ukudu Power Plant

The 198-megawatt Ukudu Power Plant was supposed to be commissioned on Sept. 30, but repairs need to be made.

Guam Power Authority said the contractor notified the agency that off-island repairs must be made.

The full commissioning of Guam's new power plant is now expected to be delayed by up to a month following a mechanical issue with one of its turbines.
