The Tiyan High School campus, which has been closed for repairs since August, passed a sanitation inspection conducted by the Department of Public Health and Social Services.
Guam Department of Education spokesperson Damen Michael Borja said details on the return to campus are still in the planning phase. The department will hold meetings with students, parents and others before making final decisions.
The campus housed students from both Tiyan and Simon Sanchez High Schools when classes began in August, but the facility was closed after failing a sanitation inspection. Eventually, students from Simon Sanchez were sent to Okkodo High School, and students from Tiyan were sent to George Washington High School.
All four schools are conducting split sessions.
Borja said the Tiyan inspection was conducted Tuesday morning and involved all areas except those cordoned off for renovations.
