Items recovered from a Spanish treasure galleon that wrecked near Cocos Island in 1690 have been turned over to the Guam Cultural Repository and will be on exhibit at the Guam Museum.

Nearly 90 years after CHamoru political pioneers Francisco Baza Leon Guerrero and B.J. Bordallo met President Franklin D. Roosevelt during their historic trip to Washington, D.C., one of their gifts to the president has returned home.

A presentation at the Guam Museum from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 6 will feature artifacts recently returned to Guam from the Bishop Museum's Hornbostel collection.
