The CHamoru Land Trust Commission's lease with Guam International Country Club can be amended to provide more money for the commission and more renewable energy for the island.

Among bills approved by the legislature during a Friday night session were a measure that allows a quarry near Fadian Cove in Mangilao and a solar farm on the Guam International Country Club site in Dededo.

A bill that would allow the CHamoru Land Trust to lease a property for mineral extraction, potentially generating $1 million annually for the agency, was moved to the voting file.
