Guam voters will go to the polls in a primary election Saturday to select candidates for governor and lieutenant governor, the legislature and the island’s delegate to Congress.
Voters will have to select one side of the ballot – Democrat or Republican – with no crossover voting allowed.
On the Democratic ballot, candidates for Adelup include current Lt. Gov. Josh Tenorio and running mate Sen. Tina Muna-Barnes, Sen. Therese Terlaje and running mate Sen. Sabina Perez and Sen. Joe San Agustin and running mate former Sen. Dwayne San Nicolas.
Republican candidates for Adelup include Speaker Frank Blas Jr. and running mate Mary Okada and Sen. Tony Ada and running mate E.J. Calvo.
Republican Del. James Moylan is defending his seat against a challenge from former Sen. Mary Camacho Torres, and the winner will face Democrat Alicia Limtiaco in November.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
