The Guam Homeless Coalition is looking for community volunteers to help with the 2026 Point-in-Time Homeless Count scheduled for Jan. 30.
The nationwide effort takes place on the last Friday of January to capture a one-night snapshot of homelessness.
The data gathered helps the Guam Homeless Coalition determine the needs and effectiveness of resources and pinpoint service gaps that need to be addressed.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, and have to complete a mandatory five-hour training session before the count.
Training sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 20 through 22 at the Catholic Social Service Adult Day Care in Barrigada, and a virtual session Jan. 23.
Volunteers can register at https://forms.gle/tN8fpoXGV56fiRwaA.
