Guam playwright and author Peter Onedera has weaved historical and personal accounts of Guam’s Nikkei, or people of Japanese descent, in his latest book, A Borrowed Land. He spoke to KPRG on the challenge of getting people to share their stories and why publishing this book was a hard decision.
