People seeking protection from stalking, domestic violence or sexual assault can now apply for protective court orders without traveling to a courthouse.

On Oct. 22, the University of Guam’s Violence Against Women Prevention Program (VAWPP) hosted a panel to address the ongoing realities of sexual and domestic violence on the island.

This October, local efforts are underway to raise awareness about domestic and family violence issues.
