CNMI 2026 General Elections

After 12 years leading the CNMI’s first elected constitutional office, Attorney General Edward E. Manibusan announced Monday he will not seek another term in 2026.

With the CNMI preparing for its 2026 general election, attorney Joaquin “Jack” Torres has announced his candidacy for the attorney general seat, a role that has been held by Edward Manibusan since the office became elective.
