Breaking Wave Theatre Company is redirecting proceeds from its upcoming live tabletop adventure show to support local recovery efforts following Typhoon Champi.
The nonprofit will host “Tides of Fantasy: The House with Teeth” from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday at its headquarters in the MTM Building in Momong-Toto-Maite.
Originally planned as a fundraiser for the company’s year-round arts programming, the focus shifted after members volunteered with World Central Kitchen and witnessed the needs of families affected by the storm.
The company has also replaced its original $50 admission price with pay-what-you-can tickets ranging from $10 to $50. All ticket levels provide the same experience. Those facing financial barriers to attending can contact events@bwtcguam.com. Individuals and businesses interested in sponsoring tickets for others may also reach out to the organization.
The live tabletop roleplaying show will feature a group of adventurers building a fantasy story through improvisation, character decisions, and dice rolls guided by Game Master James Aevermann.
The event is intended for audiences ages 18 and older. Tickets are available through Guam Time Events.
