Yap state officials send team to assist Yapese on Guam with voter services

The Yap State Election Office and the Office of the Attorney General of Yap have sent a team to provide voter assistance for Yapese people living on Guam who need to vote in Yap State.

New voter registration is offered for students studying in Guam. These voters must bring a valid passport or birth certificate and an enrollment letter from their institution.

Reregistration is offered for voters with name changes that do not match the election master list.

Assistance will also be provided for voters needing help with absentee ballot requests.

The voter assistance initiative began Tuesday and continued Wedneday. The final day is Friday, with a session from 10 a.m. to noon, and another from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Yapese Community Centre in Chalan Pago.

All participants are required to bring their FSM passport and any other necessary documents in order to be assisted.
