The Guam Economic Development Authority hosted its inaugural Håfa Adai Guam Festival in Japan, showcasing products from seven local companies to the Japan market.

GEDA says thousands attended the festival in Shizuoka, between Tokyo and Nagoya.

Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero said the festival is a celebration of the longstanding ties between Japan and Guam. The goal is to allow Guam businesses to have a stronger direct consumer presence in Japan.

Participating companies included Asiga, Denanche Guam, Everything Guam, Local Jerk Guam, Green Turtle Coffee, Kingfisher’s Noni, and The Coconut Tree Company.
