Guam Waterworks Authority said it has received reports of people pressure washing and washing vehicles while parts of the water system are depleted.
Inspectors will be visiting homes and businesses to seek compliance with emergency water conservation measures.
As system adjustments are performed to rebuild water pressure, customers might experience outages or low pressure. Crews are responding to power loss, fluctuations, refueling and generator maintenance at wells and pump stations.
As wells come back online, pressure needs to build within the distribution system to restore service and refill supply tanks and reservoirs.
