Forecasters are watching a potential tropical circulation in eastern Micronesia.

The National Weather Service Guam Office is monitoring the potential for a tropical circulation to form in the next few days in eastern Micronesia.

The weather service notes that the latest model data suggests the potential circulation could pass near or south of the Marianas sometime around May 3-6.

High uncertainty remains regarding the development of the potential system, its track, and timing, which are all subject to change.

Forecasters continue to monitor satellite data across the region for the eventual emergence of a circulation later this week.

This forecast will be closely monitored and may be updated as it becomes clearer how the circulation will develop in eastern Micronesia.
