Piti village is inviting community members to gather in faith and tradition for the annual Santa Cruz Fiesta at historic Atantåno’, a celebration rooted in CHamoru heritage, faith, and cultural preservation.

The observance begins a nightly novena on Friday, April 24, at 6 p.m. at the Shrine of Santa Cruz. The novena will continue each evening through May 1, offering residents and visitors time for prayer, reflection, and community for the fiesta.

The celebration concludes on Saturday, May 2, with the Finakpo’ Novena and Fiesta beginning at 4:00 p.m. The gathering honors the religious significance of Catholic patron Santa Cruz and the historic importance of Atantåno’ as a place of enduring faith and cultural identity.

Organizers say the Santa Cruz Fiesta continues to reflect the resilience of Guam’s people, preserving traditions that connect generations through shared devotion and cultural pride.

Residents, families, and visitors are encouraged to attend and take part in the celebration.
