The Guam governor’s office has announced a new cruise route between Guam and Kaohsiung, Taiwan, which will bring up to 1,000 passengers per trip.

The announcement was made following a Guam trade and investment trip to Taiwan. The mayor of Kaohsiung also said he would advocate for direct flights on China Airlines between his city and Guam.
The Taiwan mission included discussions on potential aquaculture and hydroponic investments in Guam.
A sister-city agreement has been executed between Guam and Kaohsiung, establishing a framework for continued collaboration in tourism, trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
