Dr. Joshua Wise, general manager of PHI Pharmacy, has been named the Saipan Chamber of Commerce’s 2025 Business Person of the Year. He received the Chamber’s top award during its annual gala Saturday night at the Kensington Hotel, an event that also recognized standout organizations and marked the formal installation of the Chamber’s 2026–2027 Board of Directors.
The Chamber also announced four additional awardees:
• Non-Profit of the Year: Project Buddy Check 670
• Small Business of the Year: Kumoi Farms
• Chamber Member of the Year: CNMI Small Business Development Center
• Public Agency of the Year: Northern Marianas College
Wise was selected from a competitive group of finalists that included attorney Tina Azarvand, Marianas Integration founder Glenna Palacios, and Commonwealth Communications founder Brad Ruszala.
In his remarks, Wise thanked his fellow finalists, calling them “rock stars” in their fields. He went on to thank God, his collaborators, PHI Pharmacy’s staff, and his family — wife Jamie and children Jordan and Gemma.
Wise also shared three principles he said guide his work: take care of your employees and they will take care of you; great customer service is the backbone of any business; and in partnerships, trust is the foundation and loyalty is the dividend.
He added that many of his partnerships have grown into friendships — something he told the audience he is “forever grateful” for.
