Guam senators are scheduled to conduct oversight hearings on the Homeland Security/Office of Civil Defense and the Customs and Quarantine Agency today.

At 8:30 a.m. representatives from Homeland Security/Civil Defense will update senators on the status of a correction action plan put in place after an audit by the Office of Public Accountability.

Also on the agenda are Emergency Operations Center concerns and the de-certification of the Guam Fusion Center.

At 2 p.m., senators will discuss Customs and Quarantine operations and modernization efforts, enforcement priorities and inspection protocols.

Participation will be limited to agency representatives, but the public is welcome to attend.
