The 38th Guam Legislature will return from an extended recess at 10 a.m. Dec. 1 to address bills that would expand the public cemetery at Tiguac, establish the artificial intelligence regulatory task force and add stronger penalties for sex crimes involving young victims.
Other bills include a measure that would allow motor vehicles to be transferred to a beneficiary upon death of the owner, increase the amount of time people can drive on a valid license from another state from 30 to 90 days and add a lifetime teaching certificate for experienced teachers on Guam.
Senators began the regular session on Wednesday morning, but went into recess after about 15 minutes.
