The Port Authority of Guam will conduct its opening ceremony for port week at 9 a.m. today to kick off the celebration of the port’s 50th anniversary.
The theme is Port Strong: 50 Years of Grit, Resilience, and Service Fueling Local and Regional Economies, Partnerships, and National Security.
The opening celebration features a flag-raising ceremony, a parade of trucks and remarks by Dorothy P. Harris, Rory Respicio and Joshua Tenorio.
Port Authority retirees will also be recognized.
