Palau Community College will begin enrolling students for the school’s first four-year bachelor’s degree in the fall of 2026.
The college announced Wednesday it has received approval from the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges to offer a Bachelor of Science in Science degree.
According to the college, the program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to excel in environmental science, research and development, health care, biomedical sciences and education.
With full accreditation, students enrolled in the program will be able to apply for financial aid from the U.S. government including which include PELL Grants, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant and Federal Work Study.
