Shopping on Guam
Guam Visitors Bureau
Shopping ranks as one of the top activities on Guam, according to a Guam Visitors Bureau exit survey.

Guam’s most recent visitor numbers show an increase over arrivals from 2024, following several months in which numbers dipped below those from last year.

June civilian air arrivals were up 5.3% from June 2024 numbers. Arrivals from South Korea, Guam’s largest market, were up 3.5%, and Japan arrivals were up 23.9%, according to Guam Visitors Bureau statistics.

Arrivals were still 56.2% lower than pre-pandemic arrivals from June 2019.

The most recent visitor exit surveys show that 93% of visitors from South Korea and 92% of visitors from Japan say they would visit Guam again.

Top activities enjoyed by visitors from Korea are snorkeling, diving, shopping, eating out and sightseeing around the island.

Top activities for visitors from Japan included shopping, eating out, beach sunbathing, snorkeling and scuba diving.
