In a letter to Colonel Cooley, Delegate James Moylan requested that Andersen Air Force Base (AFB) expand guest sponsorship eligibility, and the improvements have now been announced.

In response to concerns raised by Delegate Moylan, Andersen AFB has implemented new policies aimed at improving access for veterans with service-connected disabilities and their caregivers.

Andersen AFB has confirmed the following changes:

  1. Veterans with Veterans Health Identification Card (VHIC) or VA-issued HEC forms will be granted access to base services, including the Commissary, Exchange, and MWR facilities.
  2. Up to 5 individuals per visit may accompany veterans in accordance with federal policy.
  3. Guest passes for accompanying individuals will now be valid for 30 days.

Delegate Moylan says he will continue to advocate for streamlined services and expanded support for Guam’s veterans.
