In the CNMI, Kagman Community Health Center, inc. (KCHC) and Brabu Pharamacy & Wellness Center are teaming up to make prescriptions more affordable with what they’re calling the Isla Care Pass.
The two businesses are utilizing the national 340B Drug Pricing Program, which provides financial assistance for hospitals serving vulnerable communities to manage rising prescription drug costs.
KCHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and receives funds under Section 330 of the Public Health Services Act. Their business provides medical services in medically underserved areas, offering affordable, accessible, and quality comprehensive care.
Brabu Pharmacy & Wellness Center is an independently owned and operated pharmacy that also provides certain health services to the island communities of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.
When under KCHC’s clinic, prescriptions will be sent to Brabu pharmacy and the Isla Care discount will be applied to the prescribed medications. The Isla Care discount only applies to KCHC patients who choose to utilize Brabu Pharmacy. No insurance is needed to work privately with KCHC.
