Guam’s undergraduate college students are now eligible for the Obama Foundation’s Voyager Scholarship.
The program, officially known as the Obama-Chesky Scholarship for Public Service, aims to support students committed to careers in public service by providing financial aid and global travel experiences.
Now in its fourth year, applications have opened for the 2025-2027 cycle, extending eligibility to students in U.S. territories.
Funded by a $100 million contribution from Airbnb CEO and co-founder Brian Chesky, the scholarship offers up to $50,000 in financial aid for a student’s final two years of college. Recipients will also receive a $10,000 stipend for a summer work travel experience.
In addition, after graduation, scholars will receive an annual $2,000 Airbnb travel credit for 10 years.
The Obama Foundation said it is looking for students who are “curious, open-minded, and driven to make a difference.” The application deadline is April 1.
